David K - Thanks for the post and details on your settings. Its very refreshing to see a photographer who is happy to share and teach others about their craft.

Can you elaborate on the settings used for your photos taken from the roof?

BIRDS or NO BIRDS? What photo do you prefer?

I have a question for you. Birds or No Birds? I shot the below image a little while ago down in Dunsbrough, in South West Western Australia. One of the best regions in all of Australia (I admit, I might be a little biased). After editing the photo which included the usual stuff in addition […]

June 25, 2014 - 7:07 PM

Tomasz Gregorczyk - Thanks Adam. Yes, the no birds version is the original.

June 24, 2014 - 10:09 PM

Adam - No birds. Is that the original photo? Better left as is.

June 24, 2014 - 6:29 PM

Michel O'Niell - I really love the photo with the birds. Makes it complete. Great capture and excellent edit with the texture. Would really like to see the photo in large resolution.

Why I’m considering changing back to PC – the Mac vs PC dilemma

I have a confession to make. I am considering making the shift from Apple back to a PC. Some part of me still can’t believe that im seriously considering the shift. Putting that in virtual ink almost feels like im breaking a law or some photographers code of conduct. It’s just so universally accepted that […]

Greg Jackson - I just came across your post when researching this exact topic. I’ve been using mac for about 10 years, but Ive now come to the conclusion that Apple has well and truly lost its edge, and we are all paying a premium for the name and the hype, and not for the OS or hardware. Im switching, and I know a few others that are considering it too.

June 7, 2014 - 3:28 AM

Tomasz Gregorczyk - Yeah, you can get a great pc for that price if you build it urself or get a pc shop to build it. Buying name brand pc’s is when the price goes up

June 6, 2014 - 11:35 AM

Freddy - Wow….that’s a powerful PC for two grand!

June 6, 2014 - 11:10 AM

Cathy - I know exactly where your coming from. I got a new computer setup about 6 months ago and made the decision to move back to PC after about 8 years… far so good.

Good luck

Boomers beat China – Sino Challenge Game 1

The Australia Boomers hosted the Chinese National Team on Thursday 29th May at Challenge Stadium in game 1 of the Sino Australia Challenge. I photographed the two game Sino Challenge series for Basketball Australia (aka Australian Boomers) last year, and was lucky enough to be engaged by the team again for the 2014 series. For those that aren’t […]

Back From Holidays & Photo of a UNESCO NP

My blog has been a little quiet over the past 6 or 8 weeks, and for good reason. I was overseas with my wife on our honeymoon. We bounced around a few countries in Europe, saw many amazing cities, trekked in UNESCO Heritage Listed National Parks, sunbaked on some of Europe’s most famous beaches, had some interesting train rides, took a […]
